Rules ------------- Tourney - 1v1, double elimination format - Best of 3 (Best of 5 for top 3) - Report your own scores on the bracket, or contact a TO - Make your bracket name and Discord name the same so it's easy to find you - If an opponent doesn't respond within 15 mins of being directly contacted, mark the set score as 0 and -1 and move on - LAN adapter recommended! (#set-up-lan-connection) In-game - 3 stocks, 7 minute time limit - No FS Meter, Spirits, Damage Handicap, Items, Stage Morph or Underdog Boost; set these to "Off" and Launch Rate to 1.0x - XXXX Miis are fine - make sure your current opponent knows which moveset you're running before the match ———————————————————— Legal Stages Hazards are locked to OFF for all stages. Starters (Available the whole set) - Smashville - Pokemon Stadium 1 - Battlefield - Final Destination - Lylat Counterpicks (Available after game 1) - Town and City - Kalos Pokemon League - Unova Pokemon League - WarioWare - Yoshi's Island (Brawl) - Yoshi's Story (Melee) ———————————————————— Set Procedure and Stage Striking: Game 1: 1) (Optional) Both players announce their characters, higher seed first 2) Higher seed strikes 1 stage from the starter list 3) Lower seed strikes 2 stages 4) Higher seed strikes 1 stage and the remaining stage is played for the first match All matches after Game 1: 1) Winner of previous game strikes 2 stages from the entire stage list 2) Loser picks a stage 3) Winner announces if he is switching characters or not, loser can then pick their character Notes: Strikes do not persist throughout the set. Players may not pick the last stage they previously won on during the set (Modified DSR); however, players are allowed to Gentleman to any stage, legal or illegal, so long as both players agree. ———————————————————— Work in progress, expect things to change over time as we determine what's good and what's not.
